All other holidays require a $50 premium(I will try to have the calendar updated to reflect the difference). Please be mindful and respectful of any neighbors. Remember, it may not be JUST YOUR vacation/getaway and other people in the area are deserving of the peace. If you want to hoot and holler between the hours of 8pm and 8am, go rent a campsite with the high school students. I expect guests to be mature adults(even if you're not, I like the optical). Located on the south shore of West Caroga Lake, this camp is located in the southern region of the Adirondacks. A variety of summer activities are available for the whole family. This property is located on the safe shallow inlet of the lake. Caroga Lake is an easy one hour drive from Albany or Schenectady, and approximately 15 minutes from restaurants and shopping centers in Johnstown or Gloversville. Caroga is located only an hour from Saratoga’s Race Course, Performing Arts Center and Race Track and Casino. Local attractions include Stoner’s Golf Course, walking, hiking and ATV trails, and hunting (while in season of course), and weekly motocross at Royal Mountain, all within a ten minute drive. There is also a book lending library at the Caroga Town Hall opposite the golf course. Summers in Caroga are home to a weekly musical concert series, a museum, town wide yard sales and craft festivals, as well as other activities easily accessible by foot from the cabin. There are several fine eateries within walking distance or a few minutes by car. .Local eateries include: The Boathouse, Vrooman’s, Pine Lake Inn and The Outlet, which all offer good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Three ice cream stands are within minutes of the lake. Johnstown and Gloversville offer numerous local, chain and fast food restaurants only a short drive away. This rustic retreat is fully furnished, including a gas grill. Cabin sleeps six comfortably as one bedroom contains a full size bed while the second bedroom has full size bunk beds. There is also a safety-railed loft area. There is a single bath with a shower. Large deck, dock, grill and patio furniture, hot water, equipped kitchen, furniture, TV, DVD, cell phone signal, Internet (WiFi), videos, books, linen and towels are provided. The private, partially fenced yard has an outdoor fireplace and a gas grill. A flagstone walkway lines the deck and plantings include lilacs, lilies and hostas. “Firefly” has three charming bedrooms and a sleeping loft with sunrise lake views. The master bedroom has a beamed ceiling and beadboard walls. Glass sliding doors lead to a tile floored sun porch with lake views. All bedrooms are airy, bright, with ceiling fans, and reading lights. An antique library ladder leads to the large sleeping loft overlooking the great room. The bathroom has a pedestal sink, toilet and shower/tub with hand held massage shower head. The dresser holds a hairdryer, first aid items, shampoos, soaps. The great room has 17 windows with views East Caroga Lake. The cathedral ceiling has four fans and a bank of schoolhouse lights. A large glass door leads to the deck. The gourmet eat in kitchen has an island with a breakfast bar. The counters are Formica, butcher block and stainless steel. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and stainless sinks with drain board. The breakfast bar and beverage center is a stainless steel counter with bar sink, coffee maker, Keurig and toaster. Above are dishes, glasses on open shelving. Recycling bins are underneath the bar. Additionally, other small appliances are handy including blenders, stand mixer and electric cork remover for your favorite wine. Stainless pots, pans, iron skillet and cooking utensils are easily accessible next to the gas stove. The great room’s sitting area has a gas fireplace stove that heats the house year round and a TV cabinet is built into the end of the kitchen island. An additional big screen TV for your favorite movie. The sofa is a sectional and seats 5-6 comfortably. Additional seating includes chairs and rocking chair. The dining area seats up to 10 comfortably. The front porch has a small TV, VCR/DVD and the cabinet and chest are stocked with playing cards, board games, puzzles, crayons and markers. The bookcase has a stereo CD player/radio, CDs, movies and books, children’s books. The cottage has WiFi and a phone. Most cell phones do not work in this area, however, if you are a Verizon customer, you will have access. The home phone is for your use if needed. We provide pillows, blankets and down comforters. You need to bring sheets, pillow cases and towels. The beds are queen and twin size. Bed linens, towels are available upon request for a fee. Kayaks, one person and two person are available to rent for a day or weekly. Caroga Lake offers swimming at the State Park. Included in the rental is access to a private beach located ~ 2 miles from “Firefly”. “Firefly” is situated next to the Caroga Lake Marina, close to several local restaurants and downhill skiing at Royal Mountain. Day trips to Cooperstown, Saratoga Springs, Saratoga Racetrack/ casino, Gore Mountain are about an hour drive from Caroga Lake. Please. No requests to pay with a cashiers check. Ladybug is quaint, lovely little 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that sleeps up 6-7 people comfortable, and is just 100 steps to a shared private, deeded beach on Caroga Lake. The house is not located on the water, but rather on a quiet street in the rustic, sleepy, charming village of Caroga in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The cottage is old and campy, but very clean and lovingly decorated with vintage antiques and furniture and peppered with modern amenities. The house has a large stone fireplace, and for decorative purposes only, several antique wood and cook's stoves. Although we don't have cable TV, we do have a DVD/VHS player connected to a TV, with some amazing old DVDs and VHS tapes for your viewing pleasure. We also have some comfy chairs and a rocker to curl up in on a rainy day to watch a movie, read a good book or play one of the many board games available. The kitchen is well stocked with a refrigerator, electric stove, and plenty of pots pans, dishes, utensils and cooking utensils, as well as a blender, a toaster, a toaster oven, a coffee maker and grinder, and a tea kettle. There is no microwave, but we don't miss it with the toaster oven and stove. There is also no dishwasher, but there is a drying rack next to the country style kitchen sink, and another sink located on the back porch. The shower/tub, toilet and bathroom are just off the back porch off the kitchen. Both bedrooms are upstairs, although there is a twin sleeper sofa bed on the ground floor in the living room. The Twin Room has two single/twin beds, a dresser, desk, bedside tables. The Full Room has a full bed sleeping one to two people. It also has a trundle bed with two twin beds, sleeping one person on top and one below comfortably, a dresser, desk and bedside table. This is a three season cabin, so there is not central heating and no air conditioning. On chilly nights, you can use the fire place or simply put on extra clothes and use some of our extra blankets available. In the summer, when its hot, we find opening the upstairs windows generally cools the place right down as you get the mountain breeze and breeze off the lake. On those few very hot days, you can use the fans in each bedroom and in the downstairs closet, as well as the window fans in each bedroom window. Lady Bug has large, screened in front and back porches with some vintage wicker chairs and comfortable throw pillows to enjoy the view from the front or back of the house. On the back porch, guests can take in the sunset over the lake through the trees and our neighbor's houses. Outside, there is a picnic table, a BBQ, seats facing the lake to enjoy the view and sunsets and a fire pit with several Adirondack chairs, as well as the working well supplying water for Lady Bug, housed in its own charming well house. Although it goes without saying, guests may not under any circumstances climb or sit on the well, as it is an active well. We do hope you will come stay with us. This really is a lovely place to relax and spend time with family and friends. It is not a party house, and we are not located in a resort town or area. But you will have peaceful time in a beautiful, tranquil place that will do wonders for your soul. We are so close to so many amazing outdoor adventures and activities, between the lake, fishing and swimming, to boating, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and canoeing (you can rent all of these at the Caroga Lake Marina about 1 mile down the street), to hiking in abundance, including Cane Mountain's Fire Tower and many more great trails, to the concerts on the lake, amazing antiquing in Caroga and surrounding areas and in Gloversville and Johnstown. We are also close to golf and horseback riding. And all this just in the summer. Cooperstown, Albany, Saratoga, Howes Caverns, Great Escape Water Park and Lake George are all about an hour away, give or take 15 minutes or so, depending on which one you want to visit. There is the Amsterdam Mohawks baseball team, which has exciting baseball games at a high level playing weekly at Shuttlesworth field, just outside of Amsterdam. And the Wild Animal Farm is on the way! We also have a few great local restaurants and bars that are not to be missed, like Dick and Pegs and Vromans, as well as some very quaint camping stores, and grocery stores nearby in Gloversville and Johnstown. We love Caroga Lake and we love Lady Bug - we hope you will too!

This building was built as a tiki bar and restaurant, but now due to uncertainties in the restaurant business because of Covid-19, it is the area's coolest vacation spot! There is no doubt that you are on vacation from the minute you enter through the doors of your spacious second floor apartment, complete with Captains Quarters lounge and bar area, margarita island, and Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker. Tvs in every bedroom including a 65" for movie nights in the Captain's Quarters. Accommodations include high-end memory foam mattresses and quality linens. Also included is the secluded back yard with firepit, outdoor kitchen, and seating for up to 50 for family gatherings. There are two half baths on the lower level with easy access to the back yard. We are located within walking distance to Vrooman's, the local pub and eatery, and less than 10 minute's drive to many other great area restaurants. Also about 3 minutes down the road is Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course with the 19th Hole restaurant and bar- newly renovated with great food- not to be missed! There is also no open-container law in Caroga, so you can make your Margarita and walk with it to the beach. There are two really cool Adirondack camper's stores just a few minutes away for all of your marshmallow, fire, and grilling needs....you can even pick up an ice cream cone or some freshly-made donuts.

Located in West Caroga Lake just an hour west of Saratoga Springs and Albany, one hour east of Utica, three hours from Boston, and three and a half hours from New York City, this 1940's camp has two private bedrooms, and three semiprivate bedrooms. The house is not waterfront, but is just a short walk to our shared private sandy beach. Fully furnished with all the comforts of home, the property has a fire pit to relax by at night, a grill, plenty of outdoor seating and dining. West Caroga Lake is a wonderful lakeside neighborhood filled with quaint homes, and charming streets. There are three restaurants walking distance from the house and several others just a short drive away. Caroga Lake is excellent for swimming, boating, and fishing. A few miles away is the Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course, and many hiking trails. This idyllic Adirondack home is a relaxing and refreshing getaway. The house sleeps eleven people. It has three bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the living room there is a futon couch that will sleep two, the front porch has a twin bed for one, and the den will sleep one on the twin bed/couch. The kitchen is large with modern appliances and many cookbooks. There is a large movie library with two small tvs - one upstairs and one downstairs, a music library, and many books for adults and children. There is a selection of board games for all ages, puzzles, children's toys, and art supplies. We have a canoe that's available for rental and noodles for you to use while floating on the lake. There are fishing poles and plenty of worms in the back yard for the kids to dig up or you could buy them at a store a walk away. Please note that linens and towels are not included with the rental. They are available and can be rented for an additional fee. Please bring sheets, pillowcases and bath towels. The house has a hip rustic vibe and welcomes everyone equally. Approximately 1 block from the lake, Robin's Nest is in a quiet neighborhood on a street with sweet cottages and camps, in the heart of the sleepy, tiny and rustic village of Caroga. Our home offers guests the use of a small, private shared beach with a private dock on West Caroga Lake which is just a block away. Robin's Nest was recently lovingly restored with an eye toward preserving its old country charm, while furnishing it with all the benefits and comforts of modern day amenities. Robin’s Nest features a great room, pool table, bar, wine fridge, a spacious stone patio, large yard with picnic tables and Adirondack Chairs around a fire pit for star gazing. Our home sleeps 8 people comfortably in three charming bedrooms, and in a pinch, 2 more could sleep on the pullout, queen-sized sofa bed couch in the Great Room. Linens are not included (you provide your own sheets, pillowcases and towels) Completely renovated from the ground up, Robin’s Nest is equipped with all new electrical and plumbing systems, high speed, wireless internet, a 50 inch flat screen TV in the Great Room and another flat screen TV in the upstairs master bedroom. It also has state of the art, stainless steel appliances in its gourmet kitchen. Although our home does not have a microwave, for your convenience, it does have a toaster oven. Robin's Nest detailed woodwork includes hand-laid pine walls and gun smoke hickory and acacia hardwood flooring throughout. Over sized sliding glass doors provide easy access to the side and back yards and the flagstone patio. When combined with contemporary window walls in the Great Room and multi-paned windows and high ceilings throughout the house, plenty of light floods and warms the house. The Great Room alone has a multitude of windows. Gorgeous copper fans hang from the “cathedral” ceilings in the Great Room and high-powered ceiling fans hang in each bedroom, while cast iron gas stoves in the Great Room and breakfast nook provide an abundance of warmth and comfort during the cold, winter months. The private, largely fenced in back yard offers two, wooden picnic tables, a gas grill and outdoor fire pit and a flagstone patio. Adirondack chairs offer places to relax, share stories and gaze at the night sky and stars. Native trees and plants, including crab apple trees, lilac bushes and a black raspberry patch make up the landscape and a private driveway provides for parking for 3 to 4 vehicles. The Great Room provides something for everyone. Those who want to relax, can curl up with a book in the soft leather recliner or on the large, plush sectional sofa to stare out one of the many windows, watch their favorite movie or sporting event on the 50 inch, flat screen, SMART LG television (with Cable TV, a DVD and VCR player, and high speed wireless internet) or, they might simply watch the fire dance in the cast-iron, gas stove fireplace. Others might shoot a round of pool on the wooden, claw footed, felt-covered pool table, or sip on a drink from the wine fridge, while sitting at the beautiful built –in wood bar (featuring a classic bowling alley lane counter-top) and chatting over the bar with whoever might happen to be standing in the kitchen on the other side. Robin’s Nest’s kitchen features a downdraft gas stove, refrigerator with ice maker, a dishwasher, country sink basin, and customized, hand-crafted, shabby chic kitchen cabinets and shelving, and a country cupboard that serves as a pantry. The kitchen is well stocked with every item you might find in your own home, and then some. It is fully equipped with a coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, teapot and recycling bins. Again, although we do not have a microwave, we do have a toaster oven for your convenience. The dining area’s solid wood table seats 6 to 8 comfortably, and opens up to the backyard and stone patio through the large, sliding glass doors. The breakfast nook seats another 8, if you add the expansion leaf to the table, and looks out on the front-yard through the charming bay window. Attractive glassware and china are found in the antique wooden hutch housed in the dining area and on the kitchen shelving. The three bedrooms each offer their own unique charm. All of the rooms have ceiling fans and blinds for maximum control of the light and new, firm mattresses with waterproof, hypoallergenic mattress covers on each. You provide your own linens. Every bedroom is furnished with its own antique beds, bedside tables, reading lamps, dressers, armoires and/or accessories. Each bed is covered with charming, country, shabby chic quilts, organic cotton blankets and pillows of all shapes and sizes. You provide sheets, pillowcases and towels. The large master bedroom, on the second floor is north facing. It affords guests sideviews of West Caroga Lake out of its large multi-paned window. Centered under high, barn-like ceilings, is a king sized bed, oak end tables and dresser, vintage reading lamps, an old wooden desk and rocker and a beautiful antique recliner at the foot of the bed. The twin room is also on the second floor, and faces south. It holds a large wooden bunk bed with two twin mattresses and bunkies– one set on the top bunk and one on the bottom. It also has a cast iron day bed, with a twin mattress and bunkie, and a trundle bed underneath, with a twin mattress that can pull out. This room can sleep four comfortably. The twin room has antique wooden chairs, a reading lamp and table, and an antique, blue and white checkered metal trunk with books and games for all ages. The queen bedroom, located on the first floor is smaller than the other two bedrooms It faces West, and has a queen sized bed, antique furniture and bedside lamps, and a beautiful, old red, barn door. The queen-sized sofa-bed couch in the Great Room can also sleep 2 extra people in a pinch. The large, full-sized downstairs bathroom features a rain shower and a tub, toilet, a country sink, faucet and vanity, a chrome mirror and amenities, lantern lights, wooden tile floor and a vintage barn door. The upstairs bathroom features much of the same, but is a smaller, three-quarter bathroom with a nice-sized shower, vertical subway tile walls and a solid, glass door, a sink and toilet. About a block away, lies West Caroga Lake (just out the front door, quick right and quick left), and Robin’s Nest deeded rights to a small, shared private beach with a private dock for sitting, swimming and/or docking your small boat or jet ski. The waterfront is shallow and hard-bottomed, and swimming is allowed. Just down Route 10East, at the junction of East and West Caroga Lake is a small marina where you could launch your own small boat or jet ski for a nominal fee, or rent a pontoon boat for a day of fishing or relaxing in the sun. Outdoor activities span the seasons with swimming, boating, fishing, waterskiing, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, ice fishing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing all available locally. Essential services, dining and taverns are within a walk, bike ride or short drive. Robin’s Nest is a short walk to several other Adirondack Lake House rentals in the event guests need to accommodate larger parties. Robin’s Nest can accommodate a maximum of 8-10 guests at all times. There is parking for a maximum of 3 to 4 cars. Sorry NO PETS and NO SMOKING. Robin’s Nest has a NO SHOES policy; please bring slippers or flip-flops for indoor use.

Completed in early 2013, StoneHaven was custom designed and built by it's owners to incorporate the luxury of modern and efficient technology into a rustic package. North Shore Camp is located in the southern region of the Adirondacks Park at West Caroga Lake, Caroga, NY. North Shore Rd is the most private and secluded road of West Caroga Lake, yet minutes from the village. Enjoy a wide variety of summer and winter activities for the whole family. The camp's 185’ water front lot provides guests with privacy, tranquility and great direct access to the lake. Jump from the dock into the water for a refreshing summer splash. The lake averages 34' feet deep with a maximum depth of around 74 feet. Some of the activities close by are the Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course, ski areas (Lapland Cross Country Ski Resort, Royal Mountain), walking trays, hunting, hiking, snowmobile and ATV trails, all are within 1 to 15 minutes from the camp. If the weather doesn't allow you can enjoy the screened enclosed porch. The house sleeps 6 comfortably. There are 3 bedrooms all with new Queen size mattresses. The kitchen is the main attraction with cathedral ceilings and open concept to the dining area and living room. It is stocked with pots, pans, dishes and silverware if you decide to make your own meals. We even stocked the cabinets with spices. The cabin is comfortable in all seasons. Relax and enjoy the Adirondacks inside or out, reading a book or enjoying all the nearby outdoor activities. This home is located within a mile of Nick Stoner Golf Course, Canada Lake boat launch and Kane Mountain. It is close to several area restaurants including the 19th Hole, Pine Lake Lodge, The Outlet, and Vrooman's. We do require a 3 night minimum. Check in is 5:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am. The kitchen is the main attraction located in the middle of the house. The island serves as a bar, to enjoy the company of your friends/family. There is a stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes and silverware all available if you decide to make your own meals. We even stocked the cupboards with spices. This 4 season getaway home is located on beautiful Canada Lake within the Adirondack State Park. The property includes an indoor porch overlooking the water, along with an open porch are perfect places to enjoy your morning coffee. Amenities include outdoor fire pit, grill, dishes and cooking supplies, coffee maker, washer and dryer, and indoor gas stove. You can enjoy swimming, fishing and boating in the summer, right from your private dock. Visitors can bring their own boat or rent one nearby from the lake Marina. Nick Stoner Golf course and a brand new mountain bike trail system is is less than 2 miles away. Plenty of hiking trails throughout the area, including the fire tower on popular Kane Mountain, which you can start the hike right from your backyard. Fall foliage is breathtaking in mid Sept through mid October, and winter activities include snow shoeing, sledding, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. The house is located right on the main corridor snowmobile trail. No need to trailer anywhere else. I would be remiss if I did not mention downhill skiing at local Royal Mountain (10 minutes), Oak Mountain (40 minutes), and Gore Mountain (80 minutes).

Located on Green Lake, one of the most picturesque lakes in the Adirondack Mountains, the gorgeous Echo Point lake house is a nature lover's dream retreat. 'the Old Timberline Inn' was purchased by our parents in 1980, passed onto the next generation in 2021, whom then renovated this lakehouse into 2 separate full-accommodations vacation rental property. Beautiful 200ft sandy beach draws the attention of all who wonder Pine Lake, previously occupied by the loggers who milled the lumber in the 1800's. History in this local area is remarkable. (A)unit is downstairs, this has a private entrance, front open living area with unobstructed panoramic views of Pine Lake. Queen size pull out sofa-sleeper to accommodate additional family and friends. The beach is beautiful soft sand, gradual decline from house all the way into the lake, great for beginners and seasoned swimmers. Dock can hold watercraft and a variety of boats. There is also a gazebo for lounging with a bit of privacy, great for morning coffee. Extended grass area with room for all kinds of outdoor games, large fireplace for evening gatherings. Pine Lake is a pristine lake where you can enjoy any variety of water activities, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. The views from the property is breathtaking, state land surrounds 50% of the lakefront is included in the 'forever wild lands'. Nearby day hikes can start directly out the door of our property that include Nine Corner Lake and the Kane Mountain Fire Tower.

The left side of house is what we call the kids wing which is a smaller living room with a video library, small game room with Foosball, darts, and endless board games. Our guest reviews speak for themselves! An additional Jacuzzi fee is charged $35 for up to a 3 night stay and $50 for a 4 or 7 night stay. We do require a 3 night minimum over holiday weekends as well as a 5 night minimum over Christmas and New Year. There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service is hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise. When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage). When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be closeby and dogs are always allowed!
